Before starting the adventure on the trails, you can delight your palate with an energetic breakfast with Costa Rican identity.
In addition, we offer snacks for you to take on your walk. Choose some to put in your backpack and enjoy a little rest in the forest!
Lunch
A variety of Costa Rican Casados are waiting for you after your trail time. Delight your taste buds with delicious flavors and fresh juices!
Our menu includes the little ones of the house, as well as some special diets for our vegetarian and vegan customers.
And for those who prefer a little something in fast food, we have options prepared in an artisanal and nutritious way.
Cafeteria
For those cold days we invite you to try a recomforting hot chocolate with marshmallows or a cup of coffee with a unique flavor, grown in Monteverde.
But if you are one of the people who loves to have smoothies, here you will find very natural options, and some are recipes from our grandmothers.
You can accompany your drink with some dessert prepared in our kitchen with the desire to sweeten your visit.

Spectacular view when seated at the balcony.
ate breakfast and lunch here for a few days! I sat on the covered balcony with a spectacular view of the forest. It is located just outside the entrance to the forest. Full breakfast and lunch were about $9-$10 which included the 13% tip. Filling and satisfying, well prepared and tasty. Staff was very friendly. April, 2020.

Excellent food and service
The food was delicious, beautifully prepared, fish excellent and the service was superb. We were to take off early in the morning for a guided tour of the cloud forest and the restaurant was not open early enough for breakfast. Because we asked about it the night before the maitre d/waiter and chef came in early and cooked and served us breakfast to provide us a good customer service experience. We started our 3 hour walk satisfied and grateful. Wonderful restaurant for after a hike at the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. I am gluten free and I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner and had wonderful desserts. December, 2018.
